Poetry, Protest, and Power: AAUW & Poepathy

I was so honored to return to AAUW this month to deliver a Poepathy workshop: Poetry, Protest, and Power for Women's History Month.

The workshop examines the role of writing in shaping democracy, and looks at work from Phillis Wheatley, Sojourner Truth, and Ida B. Wells to Amanda Gorman’s inaugural poem.
